Volunteers and Funds needed to Replace Unsafe Home

Neighbors Helping Neighbors, Inc. & Rural Mission, Inc.

Mrs. Horlback is confined to a wheelchair and lives in her old home on Highway 162 in Hollywood. Living with her are children and grandchildren all crowded into a very dilapidated two bedroom home. The home is in very poor condition, with electrical extension cords running throughout the house and the ceiling coming down from leaks. Neighbors Helping Neighbors of the Town of Hollywood, and the Rural Mission are seeking community support to build this very low income family a new 3-4 bedroom home on their land and to demolish the old house.

This big undertaking will require support from across the community, from churches, businesses and others who wish to help to give this family a better life. This family needs a safe and healthy home to replace this old home that is putting them at risk every day.
