St. Andrews Year Team Serves Three Families!

St. Andrews Church in Mt. Pleasant, SC came to the Rural Mission Sept. 25-27 to spread the message of hope and caring as they helped three families in need of a decent, safe home. They represented the Year Team ministry of St. Andrews which requires Year Team members to make a yearlong commitment to faith, service and spiritual growth as future leaders of the church, congregation and the community. The 33 members of the Year Team divided into three workteams and spread out from Wadmalaw Island to Adams Run to Johns Island. One team helped to finish the new home for Mrs. Mack on Wadmalaw Island. Another worded inside the home of Mrs. Gathers in the Sugar Hill Community of Adams Run. The third team helped to reroof the home of Mrs. Blake on Johns Island. Their work and love was tremendously appreciated by these three families.
