Virginia Volunteers Build New Handicap Ramp and Bond With Elderly Couple

A group of ten adult volunteers brought their enthusiasm and love to the Rural Mission for the first time from Main Street United Methodist Church in South Boston, Virginia. They worked on several needed projects for low income residents in addition to this handicap ramp.

The elderly couple living in this home were in desperate need for a ramp due to the illness of the wife. These hardy volunteers worked in cold weather and wind to complete this ramp as a true blessing to this family. A bond of friendship has been started that will be a lasting gift to all concerned. We are very grateful for their generosity and discipleship and hope to see them back again. Our sincere thanks go with each member of this team.
