Osterville United Methodist ChurchFew volunteer workteams have been as loyal as this longtime group of servants from Osterville UMC in Osterville, Mass. John Whiteley again lead this group of 18 eager hearts to the Sea Islands which are familiar territory for this hardworking group. Nearly every member of this year's team had been to Rural Mission before. What they accomplished in a week's time was a great gift to the families they served. Using heavy equipment, they demolished the old trailer home at Mrs. Mack's on Wadmalaw Island. Please see other news articles in this section about her new home! They also demolished a porch and concrete drive at Mrs. Gethers on Johns Island to make way for her new home. A third team worked hard to help complete the inside of Mrs. Smiley's new home in Hollywood. Look for a wonderful story of this home's dedication in a few short days! Thank you to this wonderful group of the Lord's servants!
