Mount Saint Joseph High School

This workteam came to the Mission for the first time ever, arriving on April 11 and staying at the Mission through April 17. Three terrific adult leaders accompanying this hardworking group of 17 high school young men from the Baltimore area. They clearly loved the Mission site with its views out across the water and marshes.

The group learned much about themselves and the good feeling that comes from helping others in need. This special group of young men completed much of the siding installation for Mrs. Mack's home and worked on extensive renovations to a home on Johns Island, replacing and painting much of the siding on this home. This was truly a wonderful lesson in teamwork and learning new skills. Our deep gratitude goes out to this group of young men who left many blessings with us and with the families they assisted. We hope to see them next year!
