Rural Missions

Mr. Hunter

They have come every year from towns in and around the Boston are for many years. This year is no different, although much more difficult for these longtime friends. They have been saddened by the death of the son of their volunteer workteam leaders, Ron and Candy Hallett. Ron and Candy have been in California dealing with this family tragedy that has impacted everyone in the group. Giving to others in discipleship has clearly been a means of healing for some in this close group. Please keep the Hallett's, all the family, and these workteam friends in your prayers. They have again blessed us with their presence and their spirit. They spent the week of March 23 with the Mission.

This team worked on several projects, including completion of extensive repairs to the kitchen of Mr. and Mrs. Hunter, an elderly couple on Johns Island. The Hunter's are very appreciative of their sacrifice and their hard work. Their home is a special place where they enjoy life and this rural setting on the island. The walls are filled with wonderful pictures of family. This is a family founded in faith and love.
