Completing Mack Home: Please help us complete this project!
The Rural Mission staff and volunteers have nearly completed the new home to be blessed and given to Mrs. Mack on Wadmalaw Island. Many of you receiving this request worked on this home over the past year and blessed this family with your skills, commitment and caring. Thank you so much for your service with the Mission in constructing this home.
The Mission needs donations and gifts to complete construction, obtain a certificate of occupancy from Charleston County and move Mrs. Mack into this home by Christmas. The heating and air conditioning system has been installed but is not yet paid for. The contractor is willing to wait until we can raise these funds. Donations are also needed for a new septic tank and drain field. This must be in place and approved before the home can be occupied. We need an additional $8,000 to complete all work on the home and pay outstanding bills.
Please forward this to others in your group and to your church and church groups. All donations to allow us to move Mrs. Mack into this home before winter will be greatly appreciated. Please provide your donations to the Rural Mission at PO Box 235, Johns Island, SC 29457, to the Henrietta Mack home.
We know that some may not be able to give. We request of you and everyone, please keep the Mission and this home in your prayers!
