Heathwood Hall Episcopal School

For many nearly 20 years, Heathwood Hall Episcopal School in Columbia, S.C. has come to the Mission as part of their senior class commitment to missions and service. This wonderful relationship has blessed many Sea Island families in need of a decent home. It has also blessed these young people and their adult leaders with an opportunity to grow and mature and to develop strong friendships.

This year's group included 68 senior and 8 adults. They stayed at the Mission from May 22 to May 26 and worked on several homes as they created bonds of caring and sharing with these families. An earlier article about these students in the Charleston Post & Courier Newspaper captured what it means to give of oneself to another and the personal connections that are made through discipleship.
