On this beautiful Sunday afternoon ( Dec. 18) a dream came true for elderly Mrs. Linda Youngblood of Hollywood, SC.?? Thanks to many volunteers and donors, she moved into her fully rebuilt, comfortable and furnished home and shared this joy with family and friends.??? Her great appreciation was obvious.?? The old leaking roof was gone.?? A new heating system provided warmth and security.?? For the first time ever,? the home has a bathroom and she can sit in a spacious handicap equipped shower.?? The old home did not have a bathroom at all,? one of the many hardships she has endured for far too long.?? Many groups came together to make this possible – with the goal of having Christmas in her new home !?? Special thanks go to Mayor Jacqueline Heyward and the Town of Hollywood, Neighbors Helping Neighbors of Hollywood, Charleston County Human Services and many Rural Mission volunteers and donors who helped in the construction and with the cost.??? Our special gratitude goesto the two dedicated Rural Mission staff who guided and directed this reconstruction- Anderson Mack, Jr. and especially Ben Scott Crawford !

Merry Christmas to all who shared their love and caring with this deserving and humble lady who has waited so long for this day !? God Bless !

Christmas morning will come in this wonderful rebuilt home for Mrs. Youngblood !Sharing the joy with some who helped ! Thank you to everyone !
