McCanick Home Completed after Year-Long Top to Bottom Renovation!

Many volunteers from over 20 states joined in the labor of love for this old, badly deteriorated block construction home near Hollywood. This old home had been vacant for some time and required gutting and reconstruction throughout. The family had no other home in which to live.

All work was completed in October and the family has moved in. Thank you to all who helped make this possible!

This old house is now a comfortable home for the McCanick family!

This new kitchen will bring joy to this family and friends!

  1. Congratulations! I was part of the First United Methodist Mission team from Crawfordsville, Indiana that worked on this house in June of 2010. We tore out the insides and put back up studs for the walls and floors. I am so happy to hear that you are finally in the home and enjoying it’s comforts. It looks wonderful!! May God bless and keep you!
