April sees much progress in the expansion of Nellie Boykin’s home!

Join with the Rural Mission to Help this Family!
The Boykin Home Project on Wadmalaw Island is now in its 3rd Month!

The foundation was laid in late February. In early April, work has really progressed thanks to many
volunteers – with the critical electrical work inspection now approved.

Bring together your friends, co-workers or family to volunteer and spend the day assisting this
deserving family. This home expansion will serve a giving grandmother and her six very much loved
grandchildren. They will now have room to grow and live active lives.

The inside work is underway including- sheetrock, ceilings, painting, trim work, flooring and all the
finish work to make this room a home.

We need volunteers, skilled and unskilled. Donated building materials and furnishings are also really
encouraged. Plumbing replacement in the older section of the home is also needed.
